Certikin Genie pool heater
The Certikin Genie gas pool heater has been on the market since 2007 and is the most popular dedicated pool heater available in the UK. With an efficiency rating of 94% and a gas saving of over 30% compared to most installed pool heaters, proven reliability and flexible installation options, it is the best option for most pool owners.
It is available in 3 output sizes, 20Kw, 35Kw and 50Kw. If your heater needs are greater than 50Kw, multiple units can be connected together to give up to 400Kw total output which is enough for an olympic sized outdoor pool.
Calypso have been involved with the Genie since 2006 when we installed the first field prototype for Certikin and since then we have contributed towards the ongoing development of the product. We have personally installed, serviced and repaired more Certikin Genie’s than any other company and are regarded by Certikin to be the experts on the product, with Certikin themselves asking us for technical advice on a regular basis.

Calypso are the only company to have access to the Honeywell V1026, V2166 and Microcom Software which allows us un-rivelled access into the software within the Genie resulting in us being able to diagnose the most complex of problems should they occur. We are also the only company with permission from the manufacturer to access and modify the combustion parameters of the heater which allows us to customise the heaters performance to the pool heating requirements. We are also the only company with the ‘Mal2’ programming software and adaptor that allows us to re-program the temperature control board on site as necessary.
Due to our unequalled knowledge and experience with this heater, along with all other pool heaters, several Manufacturers, including Certikin contract us to carry out warranty repairs on their pool heaters.
